Linear Motors

MacroSonix variable reluctance linear motors feature high frequency (up to 1 kHz), high force (up to 1,000 lbf), and displacements in excess of +/- 5mm. The simple robust design has no sliding seals, bearings or lubrication for completely oilless operation. The motor offers variable force, stroke and frequency and offers high durability with low maintenance and low cost.

Motor Controller

The MSX linear motor controller is a solid state IGBT design driven by a separate digitial user interface. Available in 115 or 230 VAC with optional feedback transducers and modular firmware with customized menus. Control modes include high efficiency, variable capacity PWM output.

User Interface Controller

MSX user interface and logic controllers use Motorola HC08 microcontrollers, pushbutton encoder input, and LCD display. Modular firmware provides a flexible and easily modifiable menu driven interface. Multiple digital and analog input/output channels are available including optional feedback transducers. Modular firmware with customized menus and control modes includes multi-channel motor and heater control PWM output.
